Thanksgiving Has Arrived Early

At least, in my heart.

Today, I am feeling abundantly thankful.

Thankful for my beautiful, loving little family.

Thankful for their health.

Thankful for the constant love and support poured onto us by our parents.

Thankful that I get to hug and kiss my boys each and every day.

Sometimes hearing the troubles or tragedies of others punches you in the gut so hard that when you gasp for air your eyes open wide enough to see your own life.

Wide enough to see how good you really have it.

When it comes down to it, I don’t care about money, cars, homes, or any other object.  I don’t care about the difficult times, how hard we have to work, the crappy situations life throws at you.  None of that matters.  Really.

I have everything I need to be happy.

I am so thankful.

I dont know how you do it, but so often what you write is mirroring my current thoughts.

  2. I am so happy to know that there is at least one person out there who is often on the same page as I am.

In fact, I am THANKFUL for it! 😉

I hope it is nice for you to be able to come here and see that there is someone on the same page as you, too.

    Hugs.

This gave me chills when I got to the end and saw the picture. I am sitting here with tears in my eyes!

I feel the same way!!! Only if everyone in the world would think the same way, we would have such a wonderful and peaceful world!!

  5. Julia – As someone who often gets chills and/or teary when reading others’ writing, I am very touched that you felt that way while reading this. The reason I was feeling all of this today is because I was reading something written by a woman who lost her baby just after birth and it had me sobbing uncontrollably. I always feel thankful for my life, but hearing her story really made me think about just HOW lucky I am.
Anyway, I am happy that you were able to feel what I was trying to convey…

And Gabby – Isn’t that the truth! Enough said. 🙂

  6. Beautifully written! And so true. Adorable pictue, too!
