Writing

When I was younger I used to write in journals pretty frequently.  I also used to write poems, and even songs, but those are (embarrassing) stories for another day.

In 8th grade a friend gave me a really beautiful journal.

It is still empty to this day.

I felt like it was so special and pretty that I needed to wait until I had something really, really important to write about in order to start using it.

That is kind of how I feel right now.

I have been neglecting this blog lately.  It has been an intense month and many things have fallen by the wayside, unfortunately.  But I want to start writing on here again.  …if anyone is still here reading?

Hello???

(Echoes: Hello-o-o-o-o-o???)

Well, until some other readers come back eventually: Mom, this one’s for you.  I am hoping you are at least still reading.

In any event, since I haven’t been excellent about posting on here, now I feel like in order to start up again I have to have a really, really special, excellent and hilarious post.

And I can’t seem to think of what that would be…

I haven’t peed in any diapers lately.

Or peed behind any dumpsters in front of my Mother-in-Law.

Or even peed through the specially designed ‘pee hole’ in my special utilitarian Spanx.

Wow.

That is a lot of urine.

Perhaps I should lay off the coffee and water.

Or find some other way to be funny.

Maybe even in intentional ways, rather than horrible ‘peexperiences.’

Because I know you aren’t promised readers, you have to urine them.

Get it?

Yeah, okay.  I’ll work on it.

Still here too, and yes we DID miss you! If you can’t think of anything funny, I suggest asking your 3-year old to tell you a joke. I have it on good authority that he is HILARIOUS!

glad you are back! You have had an overwhelming month so no surprise you needed a break. I guess we might expect peepee jokes from someone who hangs with little boys !

  9. […] I’ve written about this issue before, this ability to stop myself from doing something because I don’t think it will be good enough, let alone as perfect as I actually would like.  However, I am happy to report that I seem to be having some sort of personal growth and am working on changing this tendency.
