Even though John Xavier is our second baby, we were still unprepared for how little he is. It’s amazing that you can completely forget just how tiny a newborn is. When I was putting away baby clothes a few weeks ago I remember thinking that there was no way our new baby would be small enough to fit in most of them. In fact we set aside any new clothing items that were ‘newborn’ size and refrained from washing them, thinking we would be exchanging them for size 0-3 months. Now that John Xavier is here, that ‘newborn’ clothing is the only clothing that fits him!
